With every meal, we can help to build environmentally and economically sustainable communities in Maine. The Be a Good Apple Project offers opportunities for learning about how the food choices we make and our consumption habits impact our environment and affect our futures. I'm a Good Apple! -- To preserve the earth for future generations and to build environmentally and economically sustainable communities in Maine, we pledge to support our neighbor farmers by purchasing locally produced foods totaling at least $10 per week.
