As of August 16, 2007, we have taken over production of the acclaimed drama presentation, "Hear Our Stories, Know Our Names," founded by the Maine Council of Churches in 2004.

Maine Council of Churches, which was one of the founding participants of Maine Citizens for Clean Elections, recently reaffirmed its support for and membership in this coalition dedicated to the goal of reducing the influence of money in politics in Maine and around the United States. Maine Citizens for Clean Elections works to strengthen and protect the landmark, first-in-the-nation Maine Clean Election Act, which gives candidates an option to run for state office without taking any money from private interests.
