Remember Us in Your Will
|
|
In the 1970's, Elsie Libby, who was particularly fond of the Maine Council of Churches-sponsored Christian radio broadcast of the time, chose to remember the Council in her will. Because of her thoughtfulness, insight and generosity, the Maine Council of Churches has grown over the years to become a respected voice of social advocacy in Maine's public arena. Elsie Libby's gift created a lasting legacy that has endured for a generation. She knew that her gift would impact thousands of people long after she was gone. She was absolutely right. By remembering the Maine Council of Churches in your will, you can help to ensure that the Council's peace and justice outreach will continue well into the future. If you would like to receive information about giving opportunities that would support the work of the Council, please contact Doug Cruger at dcruger@mainecouncilofchurches.org or at 772-1918. Thank you.
